A media kit is your creator résumé: a one- or two-page document that tells a brand who you are, who watches you, and why working with you is a good investment. A clear media kit can turn a “maybe” into a booked campaign — and it makes you look more professional than creators who just send a link to their profile.
The 8 sections every media kit needs
1. Header: name, niche and one-line pitch
Your name or handle, a good photo (or your logo if you’re faceless), and one sentence that explains what you do: “Quick, honest tech reviews for students on a budget.”
2. About you
Two or three sentences about your content, your style and why your audience trusts you. Keep it human — brands are hiring a person, not a spreadsheet.
3. Platforms and audience size
List each platform with your handle and follower count. Only include platforms where you’re active.
4. Performance stats
This is the section brands care about most. Use numbers from the last 30–90 days:
- Average (or median) views per video
- Engagement rate — (likes + comments + shares + saves) ÷ views
- Average watch time or completion rate, if strong
- Monthly reach or total views
Put the date range next to your stats, and update them every month.
5. Audience demographics
From your platform analytics: top countries, age range and gender split. Brands use this to check whether your audience matches their customers.
6. Past collaborations and results
Brand logos plus one result each: “3 videos for [Brand] — 210K views, 4.1K link clicks.” No collaborations yet? Include your best “spec” videos featuring products you already use (see how to get brand deals as a small creator).
7. Services and packages
Show what brands can buy, for example:
| Package | Includes |
|---|---|
| Single video | 1 TikTok or Reel, 1 revision, 30 days on your profile |
| Campaign | 3 videos over 4 weeks + Stories mentions |
| UGC + ads | 3 videos for the brand’s own ads + 3 months of usage rights |
You can list prices, “starting from” prices, or “rates on request”. Starting-from prices filter out brands without budget. See our sponsored post rates guide for pricing.
8. Contact
A professional email address, your website or link-in-bio, and your time zone.
Design tips
- Keep it to 1–2 pages. Brands skim.
- Use your brand colours and fonts so it matches your content.
- Show, don’t tell: add thumbnails of your best videos with links or QR codes.
- Export as PDF and keep a web version (a page on your site or link-in-bio) that you can update easily.
- Free design tools like Canva have media kit templates you can customise.
Make your sample videos count
The videos you link in your media kit should be your best-performing, brand-safe work. Pick ones with a strong opening: brands know that if viewers swipe away in the first second, their product never gets seen. If your intros are slow, test opening with a quick visual hook — our free hook library has vertical clips you can drop in.
Common mistakes
- Old stats — numbers from six months ago make brands suspicious.
- Only follower counts — without views and engagement, follower numbers mean little.
- Inflated numbers — brands can ask for screenshots of your analytics. Always be accurate.
- Too much text — use short lines and numbers.
- No clear next step — end with how to book you.

FAQ
Do I need a media kit with under 10K followers?
Yes. A clear media kit helps small creators stand out because most don’t have one.
Should I include prices?
“Starting from” prices save time for both sides. If you’re unsure, say “rates on request” and send a quote once you know the scope.
How often should I update it?
Monthly for stats, and whenever you finish a new collaboration.
Bottom line: a great media kit is short, current and honest. Lead with views and engagement, show real results, offer clear packages and make it easy to book you.
